The most durable foam helmet in the Black Diamond line-up, the Vision helmet features a fusion of EPP foam, an EPS foam puck, and a ABS shell, which keeps the dings and dents at bay, while remaining incredibly lightweight at just 215 grams. Improved side and back coverage add a new level of protection that meets proposed UIAA requirements, while the strategically placed ventilation ports keep the air flowing when temps are high. The suspension system and chin strap keep the Vision sleek, and the integrated headlamp clips are low-profile so they dont snag on over-the-shoulder slings and allow you to easily light the way on sends that push past the daylight hours.

Durable Shell
Up until recently was only using my BD Vapor which is an incredibly light helmet but extremely soft and dents easily. Was starting to look like an old avocado so decided to upgrade. This one take dings like a champ and has a bungee on the back to hold goggles if needed. Has become my standard winter climbing helmet.

Great helmet. Light, breezy, and comfortable. If you have a big grape, you’ll have to adjust it all the way out. Not an issue, but people with extra large noggins may find it starting to get snug. But not uncomfortable at all.
