    Replace before you rebuy!

    I love that BD offers replacement pole shafts. Their gear is well made and durable, but after 1000+ miles of use in (primarily in the Rocky Mountains) my pole shaft understandably snapped on a descent. The repair was easy enough and I am back to trekking with my favorite poles on the market.

    My Black Diamond poles are at least 10 years old, and I had worn about 3″ off the end! Although this model is no longer made, one call to Customer Support helped us find a replace bottom section that fit perfectly. Very happy I didn’t have to buy new poles!
