The Alpine Start Insulated Hoody is designed with a silhouette that allows unrestricted freedom of movement, an adjustable hood, and a drop hem. All zippers are DWR treated and the jacket stows into front chest pocket.

I love this jacket. I am a big fan of the original Alpine Start hoodies, but they are thin and not at all warm. This fixes that problem with very slight fleece in a few strategically placed area, which adds warmth without changing the Alpine Start fit. It’ll be my go-to late fall climbing piece.

Alpine Start was already the go to shoulder season shell and versatile mid layer in colder weather. In the pack or running vest for every outing. Add 2 hand pockets and some ideally placed insulation and it is the most versatile piece I own. I love it!
