    Spare parts for some 12 year old Ascensions

    East coast BC tours do some damage to equipment…reality check. Bought these, along with the tail clip kit for some insurance for my 12 year old BD ascension skins. These bomber skins have taken me up peaks in Chile, Iceland, Argentina, and around the States too, but are finally wearing out. Hope that these will keep ‘em going for another few years

    Great skin tip loops.

    These are my go-to tip loops for when I break the loops from other brands. They’re super easy to mount, and include all the right hardware. The break-away screws included for mounting make the process seamless… unlike other brands that use hammer-in rivets that are really easy to screw up.

    I’m with the rest of the crowd on this one – these tips are inferior. I’m wondering if it’s just supply chain issues. In the install diagrams, these types of tips are shown as meant for split boards – I’m wondering why they’ve phased out their other lines for conventional skis?     Since install I have kicked the wire with ski tip multiple times with no breakage. I have also reinstalled skin tip on a second set of skins using new break off screws. Durable and re-usable.
